A much-loved tradition of the National Celtic Folk Festival, the Farewell Breakfast returns this Monday morning at 10am - the final ritual for those easing out of a big weekend of music, dance and late-night sessions.

Served up by Declan McGovern, this proper Irish send-off brings together maple bacon, sizzling pork sausages, Clonakilty black and white pudding, golden pan-fried boxty, roast tomatoes, eggs, and warm Irish soda bread slathered with rich Guinness butter.

Hearty, restorative, and best savoured at a gentle pace, it’s the perfect way to soak up the last of the weekend before the journey home.
