An afternoon of all new local bands at Franks. Come see what they are all about.
The Morning Star are an experimental folk-rock band formed by collaborative Illawarra based songwriters Alicia Mollica and Cody Munro Moore. They adhere to this genre through both drawing upon and obscuring traditional songlines of the sonic past, while exploring experimental recording styles that meddle with our own notion of the present. For their first show ever, Alicia and Cody are backed by Jordan Ireland, Sophia Gellibrand and Talullah Newland.
They are joined by two other newcomers, Sover and Legs Up To Yr Ankles (feat. members of Premium Dero and Body Type)
