It’s time to dust off your red dress because The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever (TMWHDE) is back for its 6th year at the outdoor stage of HOTA, Home of the Arts, on Sunday, July 21st, from 9am to 12pm!

Presented by Lights Out And Dance, TMWHDE is a joyous celebration of dance, unity, and fun. Join friends and strangers to recreate the iconic dance while supporting a crucial cause—helping victims of domestic violence. There’s something magical and healing about wuthering together in our red dresses!

For a third year, we’re proud to be supporting Friends with Dignity once again. Friends with Dignity are a local Gold Coast charity dedicated to assisting those impacted by domestic violence. Having raised over $2000 with 160 Kates in 2023, we aim to break our record this year and gather 200 Kates to raise $3000!

Every dollar counts. Once we cover event costs of approximately $3500, 100% of the remaining profits go directly to Friends with Dignity. Your participation makes a real, immediate difference.

The MWHDE Gold Coast acknowledges British theatrical group Shambush, the creators of the theatrical concept The Ultimate Kate Bush Experience, and Samantha Wareing, who, with permission from Shambush, created The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever.

Since 2016, more than 15,000 ‘Cathys’ in over 70 cities worldwide have taken part in mass wutherings, with some events hosting over 2000 participants at once!
