Event description

Ahh.. Penny's Poetry.
The last on the the mountain for this year. So if you are desiring to meet parts of yourself, get your creative juices flowing, or feel like you have given yourself some deep nourishment before the silly season, this is for you.

I will start off by sharing that Penny is a nickname of mine, and was birthed into the world by those around me, for me. Penelope was the name of a creative outlet, expression, of all the biggest and wildest, forbidden, dark, light, tender and ranging parts of the self. This nickname has stuck around for 14 years now, continually wishing to be used in one way or another, so I am not surprised she has eventuated into the creation and title of Penny's Poetry.

Penny's Poetry is this..
Exactly a place for you to allow any part of you to have a platform, gentle stage (it's a plush golden chair and floorboards).
It is held in a magical property, which is also home to my business 'The Healing Abode', which in itself is designed and curated to be the safest space for all parts of you to be witnessed, loved and delved into if you so desire, and ALSO, a place for you to DEEPLY rest, while connecting to yourself, life and existence.
It is also the residence of my Partner Dean Bentley's business and methodology 'The Soul Method'. A place, for your SOUL to come online, to remember its power, depth, beauty, truth and innate calling.

Why have I created Penny's Poetry?
Well.... I LOVE TO HAVE FUN. And despite the depth and reverence that can permeate Poetry Evenings here, there is a big element of deep enjoyment and fun, which I know deeply anchors the alchemy and experience of the spoken word/expression.

Yes, expression or witnessing. Poetry night is not just for Poetry. Any spoken word or expression you would like to bring, or any offering of the self is welcome.
If you are desiring to rest in the witnessing of others, that is deeply welcome.
