    Event description

Roll on into Glenworth Valley, for the inaugural – Wild for Wilderness 2023. 18+ event.

It’s an initiative for raising funds for our National Parks so get your adventure on, help raise money for a damn good cause and get lost in the beauty of Glenworth Valley. 20% from ticket sales will be donated, along with any additional funds raised during the event.

Pony Rider in association with Stone & Wood are bringing you the first ever Australian van life event, so roll on up and settle in for a huge two days of good times. Free to get your adventure on by day, head back to camp around 12 when we officially open the day with a ‘Welcome to Country’, then we will pretty much just tell you to settle in for the afternoon, curb the hunger with delicious food and booze and get ready for an afternoon of inspiration and outright fun with our line-up of epic adventure films and tunes; featuring an array of homegrown artists.

Kicking off the afternoon will be 'Off the Wally' (Jake Harris) who always delivers a one of a kind, good time every time. Setting the tone on the stage as the sun goes down is Sydney based Duo 'Salarymen', who combine vintage and modern influences in just the right balance to create their own brand of indie rock, commanding the attention of any crowd.

Not to be outshone are Melbourne based addictively cheerful group 'Banangun'. With their new album just released ‘The True Story of Banagun’ these guys are sure to be your new favs band by the end of the night. Finishing off the night, as it would be rude not to feature a set from the man himself DJ Johnny Ladd, direct from the back of an old vintage Ford.

We also aren’t in the business of leaving people out so when we say ‘Van’ event, we are super open to getting creative with your home on wheels, like chucking a mattress in the back of the car. If between you and your mates you can’t rally a car big enough, we will have a limited amount of Glamp tents available for hire.

There will be some activities included in your ticket price, but Glenworth Valley offers an abundance of adventure activities that you can book directly here – we suggest getting these booked in from 9-12pm on Saturday so you don’t miss any of the festivities that kick off around noon.

If you want to be set up next to your mates make sure you all arrive together as van sites are allocated on a first come first serve basis.

So come get your Yee-haa on and support us in raising funds for our National Parks.

Gates open 9am Saturday 4th Nov and all attendees must be out by 1pm Sunday 5th.
