The National Secondary Schools' Brass Band of New Zealand

The National Secondary Schools' Brass Band of New Zealand concert at the Cambridge Town Hall is the showcase performance following the annual training course for brass and percussion musicians who attend New Zealand Secondary Schools. This year over 70 players were selected into two bands by our Musical Directors, Victoria van Uden and Reuben Brown. Our students are coming together for five days of band camp in Cambridge, 3-7 October 2023. Students will be tutored by champion musicians, including our Guest Soloist, Aishah Leitner (who will perform solos accompanied by the bands).
This concert is the culmination of students' hard work throughout the band camp. Prepare to be amazed by these talented young musicians who are putting together a highly-skilled, entertaining concert for all to enjoy.

$20 adults, $10 concession (senior citizens, students, unwaged)
Free (under 12 attending with a paying adult)
