The National Vintage Guitar Expo 10:00am to 6:00pm

The Expo is one of Australia’s major annual vintage guitar events, run by vintage enthusiasts for vintage enthusiasts. This year it also includes the Vintage Sessions gig on Saturday night.

It’s a celebration of vintage, rare and hand-made acoustic and electric guitars, amplifiers and accessories from around Australia. Our 2025 event will be again held at the Harmonie German Club in Canberra from 10am – 6pm on Saturday the 11th of October 2025. The event brings together a large group of exhibitors in two adjoining halls, vintage guitars and amps in one, acoustic and luthier instruments in the other.

The Expo is made up of over 20 displayers each year. This includes vintage guitar dealers, luthiers and memorabilia/vinyl record dealers.

Vintage Sessions 8:00pm to 11:00pm

We are pleased to announce 'The Vintage Sessions' will be held on Saturday night at Harmonie German Club in Canberra and our guest artists include Fiona Boyes, Jordan Thomas Trio, Don Morrison and Skip Sail

Fiona Boyes

With 8 USA Blues Music Award nominations, career tour dates in 20 countries, and her recent induction in to the Blues Victoria Hall of Fame, Fiona Boyes is a relentless and curious musical explorer.

Fiona plays deep Blues, influenced by a myriad of traditional regional styles and has carved an international reputation as a blues guitarist, bandleader, vocalist and songwriter.

Winner of the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, USA, she is also a former Port Fairy Folk Festival Artist of the Year.

Jordan Thomas Trio

Taking influence from the sights and sounds of the dance halls and juke-joints of another time and place, Jordan Thomas is an original artist influenced by mid century musical styles of rock and roll, rockabilly and jazz.

The Jordan Thomas Trio have their own style, with refreshing authenticity, born from a deep appreciation of the golden age of western popular music. They are made up of drums, guitar and double bass. They have a similar blend original material mixed with early rock and roll, jazz and rockabilly. The stripped back nature of the trio gives a raw and rockin’ edge to the band.

Don Morrison

Don is a songwriter, singer, guitarist, guitar maker, story teller and author.

He has shared the stage with many of the biggest names in Australian music, like Midnight Oil, Hunters and Collectors, Joe Camilleri, Men At Work and a hundred more in more than thirty years in music game.

He has worked with Bo Diddly, Joe Cocker, Rodriguez. He’s done gigs from Melbourne to Margaret River, from Sydney to San Antonio, Perth to Penrith and released fifteen albums and CDs of original songs.

Skip Sail

Multi-instrumentalist musician, collector and performer, Skip hails from King Island in the Bass Strait and is now based near Castlemaine.

With a lifetime passion for folk and blues music of the last century, together with a deep knowledge of the instruments used, Skip will be sharing songs, vintage instruments and the techniques for playing them, in the Vintage Sessions
