Overview
The National Vintage Guitar Expo is Australia’s major annual vintage guitar event, run by vintage enthusiasts for vintage enthusiasts.
It’s a celebration of vintage, rare and hand-made acoustic and electric guitars, amplifiers and accessories from around Australia. Our 2025 event will be again held at the Harmonie German Club in Canberra from 10am – 6pm on Saturday the 11th of October 2025. The event brings together a large group of exhibitors in two adjoining halls, vintage guitars and amps in one, acoustic and luthier instruments in the other.
2025 Exhibitors
The Expo is made up of over 20 displayers each year. This includes vintage guitar dealers, luthiers and memorabilia/vinyl record dealers. Confirmed attendees will be added closer to the date.
‘Vintage Sessions’
We are pleased to announce 'The Vintage Sessions' will be held on Saturday night and our guest artists include Fiona Boyes, Skip Sail and Don Morrison.
Fiona Boyes With 8 USA Blues Music Award nominations, career tour dates in 20 countries, and her recent induction in to the Blues Victoria Hall of Fame, Fiona Boyes is a relentless and curious musical explorer. Fiona plays deep Blues, influenced by a myriad of traditional regional styles and has carved an international reputation as a blues guitarist, bandleader, vocalist and songwriter. Winner of the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, USA, she is also a former Port Fairy Folk Festival Artist of the Year. | Skip Sail Multi-instrumentalist musician, collector and performer, Skip hails from King Island in the Bass Strait and is now based near Castlemaine. With a lifetime passion for folk and blues music of the last century, together with a deep knowledge of the instruments used, Skip will be sharing songs, vintage instruments and the techniques for playing them, in the Vintage Sessions | Don Morrison Don is a songwriter, singer, guitarist, guitar maker, story teller and author. He has shared the stage with many of the biggest names in Australian music, like Midnight Oil, Hunters and Collectors, Joe Camilleri, Men At Work and a hundred more in more than thirty years in music game. He has worked with Bo Diddly, Joe Cocker, Rodriguez. He’s done gigs from Melbourne to Margaret River, from Sydney to San Antonio, Perth to Penrith and released fifteen albums and CDs of original songs. |
