The Nature of Home, A Sense of Place
Event description
There’s a special place in the Barossa Bushgardens. It’s a place surrounded by native plants and trees ranging from ground covers to red gums hundreds of years old. And within that special place is a very special space, a labyrinth.
Join me at the labyrinth during this Nature Festival. Together we’ll immerse ourselves in our surroundings, and we’ll explore our sense of place, and that which we call “home” We’ll utilise personal representations and look at how the labyrinth can be a path of both insight and meaning. We’ll consider questions that will take us deeper into ourselves, our self-awareness and our understandings, and on a guided labyrinth walk we’ll let the gentle turns of the labyrinth draw us into mindful awareness, listen to our inner voice, and allow our body wisdom to surface.
Meet at the labyrinth in the northwest area of the Barossa Bushgardens. From the carpark a footpath leads to the labyrinth.
