The Nature of the Bluff

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

Over the past few years Lake Tyers Coast Action have commissioned biodiversity surveys of this local treasure. We have also been busily re-designing the interpretative signage along the walkway to highlight significant flora and fauna.

But we are not the only ones who think this is a special place. We will also be hearing from DEECA and others of studies that have been taking place in the Bluff and surrounds.

Morning knowledge sharing event: 10:00 am -12:00 pm, Lake Tyers Beach Hall Followed by lunch.

Then if weather permits, a walk and talk along the pathway, introducing the new signs. The walk will start from Salmon Rd. Please bring: hats, jackets, bug spray as needed, sturdy shoes, water bottle and curiosity.
Note: walk is ~2km length on an unsealed path.

If you have dietary requirements, please email them to: laketyerscoastaction@gmail.com
