The Network: Fungi, Community & Connection

The Network invites you to co-create a vibrant community installation for PBEAT2025. Craft your own fungi or mushroom sculpture, to be connected by luminous threads of mycelium. Together, we’ll celebrate harmony through nature, exploring the interconnectedness of ecosystems and communities. Facilitated by Space Whale Creative Arts Therapist, Liz McCarthy, 

The finished sculpture will be part of the Pearl Beach Ephemeral Art Trail 2025, which runs from March 22 to April 27 at the Pearl Beach Arboretum. 

Workshop info. 

• Participants of all abilities welcome to attend
• The workshop will take place at the Arboretum cottage and surrounds - water, shade and toilet facilities are available 
• Open to ages 12+ 
• Workshop is wheelchair accessible 
• Saturday March 8, 2-4pm 

This workshop takes place on First Nations' land. We pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
