The new Incorporated Societies Act was passed in April 2022, replacing the previous act from 1908.
EVERY incorporated society will need to take actions as a result of these changes.
In this presentation Angela will give you an overview of the act and what you will need to do to comply.
In summary
- October 2023 - The New Legislation came into effect.
- You will need to re-register your society and update your constitution in line with the new legislation - You will have just over 2 years to comply from this October.
- If you fail to do this your Society will cease to exist.
