Cupholder Industries is delighted to have the Inner West's very own The Night Packers playing a special show at The Dock.
Having been active for a couple of years, The Night Packers bill themselves as "for fans of The Velvet Underground, Modern Lovers, early Wire, early The Fall, Husker Du, Go-Betweens, Tactics & The Gun Club". That's a top list of references! Note that the sneaky inclusion of Canberra 70s and 80s post-punk band Tactics is given some weight considering that Tactics' mid-80s bassist David "Snajik" Miller is a member of this group.
Having sharpened their act with an impressive roster of shows, the band's frequenting local haunts like the Gasoline Pony, Union Hotel, Golden Barley, Petersham Bowlo and the Trocadero Room. We're excited to give Redfern a taste of what they're all about.
