The Nile Street Project - Grainstore Gallery, Oamaru
Event description
With their blending sounds of chiming and softly percussive instruments, The Nile Street Project are producing lushly harmonic and sonorous atmospheres with their interpretations of contemporary neoclassical compositions from around the world.
This trio from Whakatū/Nelson is producing modern music with clarity, restraint, and a light touch, with a focus of achieving more-with-less in a bid to provide their audiences with an experience of space, peace, and transparency amid the busyness of our modern world.
Their music is lightly melodic, pleasingly harmonious, rich with heart and soul, and delivered by three highly experienced musicians with a deep love and respect for neoclassical composition.
