The Hillbilly Goats

Sunday 2 August | 3pm | 13+ | BYO

The award-winning Hillbilly Goats are bringing their electrifying blend of bluegrass, old-time mountain music and Appalachian folk to The Nook for a night of foot-stomping fun.

Winners of the 2022 Folk Band of the Year, recipients of the Golden Fiddle Award, and multi-time Golden Guitar finalists, the Hillbilly Goats have built a reputation as one of Australia's most exciting live folk acts. Featuring blazing fiddle, banjo, washboard, double bass and soaring three-part harmonies, their performances are packed with infectious energy, humour and world-class musicianship.

Drawing inspiration from the traditions of the Appalachian Mountains, the Goats weave together lively tunes, heartfelt songs and colourful stories that transport audiences to old-time America while adding their own unmistakable Australian flair. Whether you're a lifelong bluegrass fan or discovering the genre for the first time, their live show is impossible to sit still through.

Expect an unforgettable evening of toe-tapping rhythms, virtuosic playing, laugh-out-loud moments and a room full of good old-fashioned hoedown spirit. Bring your mates, pack your favourite BYO drinks, and get ready for a wild hillbilly party at The Nook.
