The Northern Rivers Wellbeing Workshop

According  to the World Health Organisation, stress has been classified as the health epidemic of the 21st Century. Without a burnout mitigation strategy, fatigue, insomnia, anxiety, depression, physical disease, disengagement from work and strained relationships can become an issue in our lives.

Lennox based yoga teacher and mental wellbeing advocate, Joanne Heath is partnering with the beautiful BlueGreen Sanctuary in Newrybar to launch The Northern Rivers’ Wellbeing Workshop. A regular not-for-profit community wellness initiative, this 5-hour immersive experience is designed have a real and lasting impact on the wellbeing of Northern Rivers’ residents.            

Joanne and BlueGreen’s Wellbeing Director, Alistair Hart are donating their time with owners, Simon and Dolores Kilpin generously donating the property and facilities in an effort to make getting deep rest in a magical retreat setting more accessible to more locals from both a financial and time perspective. Serving to empower Northern Rivers’ residents with both age-old and contemporary practices to calm the mind, activate the parasympathetic nervous system and cultivate present moment awareness, workshop participants will walk away with practical tools and strategies to self-manage stress, live a more balanced lifestyle and cultivate inner peace.

The program includes gentle yoga, controlled breathing techniques, meditation, guided relaxation, sound healing, mindset coaching, and is designed to be accessible to people of all ages, abilities and walks of life.

The launch workshop is on Tuesday June 25th from 9:30am – 2:30pm. Tickets are $39 and includes morning tea, gourmet lunch and take-home notes. Suitable for residents 16+. Limited to 20 guests.
