Are you a New Mother feeling the need to be in a space with other New Mothers, where you can feel more aligned and connected during this delicate time of transition?

Holding the space as a New Mother also requires for the New Mother to be held. Held within a safe space that provides deeper understanding of the huge, life altering event that has just taken place.

The intention of "The Nurtured Mamma" online gatherings is create an community for New Mothers who may live more remotely or who may find it challenging to travel with a Newborn in the early months of Postpartum.

It is a space where we can move beyond the unrealistic ideas present in our culture that women naturally cope with mothering, recovering from birth and juggling all of the usual pre-birth life and expectations, towards ways we can build healthy relationships with ourselves, our bodies, our babies, our new life and the Postpartum time.

Many New Mothers are experiencing, isolation, deep exhaustion, conflict and overwhelm because of the absence of community, care, healing and understanding during this time of transition. This in turn is affecting their overall Maternal health and wellbeing as well as that of their family's.

This needs to change!

Each week, the Nurtured Mamma” space we will-

Bring a sense of orientation to this new life
Offer ways to implement simple selfcare practices.
Bring attention to how we can consciously hold the space with the newborn.
Create a simple and respectful prepared environment for baby.
Explore what “Mother” means
Feel all the feelings safely and free of judgement
Begin to build a Mother Community online that can be formed in person for local mothers beyond this time together
Bring permission to explore this time via conversations that are often awkward, absent or sensitive in content.
Discuss relevant Newborn development
