Inspired by true events, this psychological thriller film follows two girls who embark on a scenic coastal escape that spirals into chaos. Struggling to outrun their pasts, Neviah, a tormented recluse, and Freya, an enigmatic stranger, find their friendship tested at every turn, with all roads leading to a shocking revelation.

Created by first-time filmmakers, Lily Lunder and Koko Crozier (both 18 when the project began), The Offing (Unclassified 15+) is a stunning debut showcasing the collective power of young women behind the camera. With its raw and unflinching portrayal of girlhood and female agency, the film explores the realities of women’s lives - from periods and complex female friendships to sexual violence.
