Artists need money to make art. Where can you get it? Grants are one thing, but for many the grant process does not get any, or enough, money for the activities they want.

The Money Workshop will be an introduction to other ways to get the resources you need.

Steven Richardson from Creative Australia delivers The Artist As Fundraiser workshops to provide artists with knowledge, skills and strategies for raising money to support your practice. He brings this knowledge to share, will also discuss the Australian Cultural Fund fundraising platform, business partnerships and fundraising strategies.

Neda Rahmani is musician, entrepreneur and community leader, who has built her career from the local to international stage without grants. Her extensive experience as an artist working from community, driven by her values and vision, gives a perspective of an artist’s journey that is personal, long-term and relational.

Join Neda and Steven in this free workshop to delve into the possibilities and practices that could feed your work!

There is no cost to attend but registration is essential to manage catering and bookings.

You can check out which other grants are currently open on our Avenues of Support page.
