Are you starting or thinking about starting a business?

Did you know that over 90% of startups fail within the first 3 years!

Want to find out why?

In this 1 hour lunchtime session, we'll break down the reasons why start-ups fail and identify the one thing that it boils down to...

That's right... while many factors are at play when it comes to a startup failing, there is only one reason why start-ups fail!

Understand it, learn from it and ensure you give yourself every chance for success!

The session is delivered by Mark Mendel, Founder of 99starts.

99starts is led by its founder Mark Mendel and is focused on mentoring, coaching and advising startups across the globe. He bootstrapped his last business starting with only $5,000 and exited to an ASX listed company (as a solo founder!). Mark is a strategy focused entrepreneur that see's opportunities that most don't. With over a decade of learnings, Mark is now focused on helping the next generation build successful companies.

What Others Say About Mark:

"It is not often you sit down with someone who is able to so quickly identify the needs of your business and what its growth levers are. Mark asks questions that get to the crux of the issue, forcing you to think differently and challenge your direction. A conversation with Mark, however long or short, always results in a moment of clarity. He is pragmatic, solutions-focused and understands the startup journey. Mark is one of the most insightful and astute people I have met in a long time. "

-"Marks entrepreneurial passion leads him to not only want to create and develop new projects and businesses himself but demonstrate his skills and drive to the next generation of business leaders which is an amazing commodity"

-"Mark is one of those rare big-picture thinkers who may not talk much, but when he does talk, he has that rare ability to make you ponder and permanently shift your thinking with a few simple questions. That's what essentially great leaders do, where instead of telling you what to do, they make you search for answers within yourself that you may not even realise you had in the first place."

-"I met Mark in 2016 when I was building my startup. He is a perfect example of what a passionate biz owner goes through from idea to success. Mark is always available to take a phone call and is a great sounding board for entrepreneurs who are facing some difficult decisions to make. There are many individuals out there who talk the talk but Mark definitely walks the walk."

-"With the trials and tribulations associated with running a start up, I found Marks advice very valuable and his calm and thoughtful approach always helped me see things more clearly"
