The Open Kitchen: A Farm to Table Dinner with Dana & Ian of Savvy Food Company 

A meal made from the land. A gathering rooted in connection.

Join us for the launch of The Open Kitchen — a seasonal farm-to-table dinner series that brings people together over beautifully crafted meals, local harvests, and meaningful conversation.

This first event features a three-course experience by chef Ian and farmer Dana, the duo behind Savvy Food Co, showcasing ingredients from Wapato Farm on Sauvie Island.

Known for their elegant, intentional approach to food, Ian and Dana invite you to enjoy a meal that reflects the season, the soil, and the spirit of togetherness. The menu unfolds as the evening does — mostly vegetarian, with an optional protein — always guided by what’s fresh, available, and prepared with care.

Why we gather:
The Open Kitchen is part of a larger effort to reimagine how we nourish our communities — not just through food, but through access, storytelling, and collaboration. Each dinner highlights local chefs, growers, and makers building a more just and regenerative food system.

Hosted by CACOON and part of the Community Village Network, this is the first in a continuing series of dinners that plant seeds for connection, inspiration, and shared purpose.
