In the spirit of the godfathers of blues, funk and soul the likes of Buddy Guy, Albert Collins, Bill Withers and Freddie King Killwater is putting it out there with their own electric funk/soul-infused rockin’ blues, shamelessly drawing upon life's universal themes with songs about getting it on, getting down, getting even, wanting more and getting less.Forged in the fire pits that are the pubs and taverns of the ACT Killwater is founded on mateship, a love of music and over 120 years experience in live music. A search to unearth our musical influences brings us back to where it all started and dirty it up with some smokin’ bluesy rock numbers.

Ana Key & the Underdogs

4 piece original rock act and rising stars of the indie world with powerful emotive songs. A lyrical, satirical, slightly political songwriter with a distinctive style and a sultry voice. A mix of rock, pop and blues. Ana Key is a unique theatrical performer, combining music with a larger than life presence. She sometimes reminds us of Chrissie Amphlette, or perhaps it’s Blondie or Nina Hagen? And yet, she’s really just Ana Key, tipping the edge, pushing the boundaries, involving us through musical stories, intelligent and funny lyrics, simple yet sensational musical grooves, and a performance style that involves audience participation and inclusion. You’ll want to sing along to lyrics you’ve never heard before!

Ana Key has 5 albums - ‘F’, ‘NO ORDINARY DAY,’ ‘KEEP PLAYING’, and ‘FAMOUS IN MY KITCHEN’ - produced by Davis Jade Sparx at Unison Studios. Her latest album, 'FUTURE HISTORY – Co-produced with sound engineer Stewart Havill of Dogstar Productions and George Bruno of SQUEEZE RECORDS. Her song ‘WINTER’ (Keep Playing), won a SCALA AWARD, and 'BREATH (Famous in My Kitchen) was also a winner for Clubjumpers USA.

Her band the UNDERDOGS, comprising of OLE NIELSEN – guitar, KEITH JOLIFFE – Bass and STEVE DEAKIN – Drums add another dimension to her live shows. Creating a superb backdrop for her music. Having started her career as an actor, Ana Key has always included music in all her artistic endeavours. Being an accomplished actor the desire to create soon extended into becoming a playwright. Her music is not the usual center-field stuff, more like "IN YOUR FACE STUFF" than that.

The 94s

Exciting young 3 piece alt rock local band producing contemporary originals with great energy and dynamic punch! They were superb at the recent band comp at this venue and are shure to thrill as our opening act with such powerful original songs!

Three mates with a love for music started the project at the beginning of 2021, and a passion for writing original music motivated the group to share their songs. After much deliberation the band named themselves after the collective year the band members were born, with a name that matches the punchy sound they create. Now with a few gigs under their belt "the 94s" are emerging in the local canberran music scene with catchy original music and an authentic stage presence. With a wide range of musical themes, the band draws inspiration from life experiences as well as building songs around key hooks that connect with the band.

Ray Elliot, the frontman and voice of the band brings life to the songs with memorable and evocative lyrics, delivered with a soulful and unique raspy style. The Glue of the group and bass player Michael Grosse drives the songs with bass heavy riffs and licks that cut through the mix giving a raw funk rock feel. The combination of these styles with the rhythmic based drumming of Josh Robertson, tops off the band's sound creating grooves that resonate and get the crowd going.
As a 3 piece band each player's individual style is on display whilst also complimenting each other, creating a syncopated sound that is the 94s. After a taste of live performance, the 94s have no intention of slowing down with EP and more live shows in the near future.
