From the foreigner’s viewpoint, cinema reframes the “elsewhere”: sometimes with curiosity, sometimes with distance, often revealing more about the filmmaker’s position than the subject. This strand probes the ethics of looking, asking what can be learned - and what remains obscured - when cultures are mediated by outsiders.

Goke's work is multidisciplinary, shaping identity by connecting collective thought to storytelling. Through audiovisuals and carved objects, he animate existence and identity in the world today.
