Snowy Valleys Council is proud to bring " Little Wing Puppets" to the region. Children will enjoy " The Owls Apprentice".

Following the show, Snowy Valleys Council is offering 15 children an opportunity to participate in a free puppet workshop with well known puppeteer Jenny Ellis. Please book workshop tickets separately.

"Owl’s aren’t born wise you know, they have to learn it from somewhere.

A young owl is sent to study at Owl school. On his journey he meets different animals who each share with him their own kind special kind of wisdom. But will he pass the final test and become wise enough to save the forest? Come and enjoy this interactive shadow puppetry performance by Little Wing Puppets, then book into the workshop to make your own puppets after the show.

Jenny Ellis, a puppeteer of more than twenty years, weaves the whole story together with a single set of hands, sometimes playing three characters at once. The young audiences will gasp with surprise, sigh with the sadness, and cheer with triumph as they join this little owl on his journey to find wisdom."
