Event description

Do you feel at a loss for how to parent your teen right now?

Do you often feel alone in this?

Each class will include essential information for parenting your teen right now. There will also be time for discussion along with practical ways to apply what you've learned to your circumstances.

Each class will include handouts to help you build a stronger and lasting connection with your teen or preteen.

Feedback from other parents that have taken this class...

"Yshai not only teaches but also models the kind of gentle leadership that I think makes for the most effective parenting. It's like a cooking class where we're all looking for the perfect recipe to make happy, healthy kids who will become happy, healthy adults, but Yshai reminds us we're not the chefs; our kids are. Our job is to make sure they have everything they need and that they're supported and prepared for each task as it arises. "

" Yshai's parenting class was supportive and very informative. It helped me understand so much about my 13 year old and where he is in his development. I also learned what I can do to best support my child right now and how to problem solve struggles he or we might be having. I highly recommend this class to any parent who wants to learn more about parenting."

"Great way to learn about parenting from an expert coach and your peer parents. Easy & engaging. The content and Yshai’s delivery of it is really enlightening, relevant, and actionable. You get to learn both parenting techniques and the fact that your challenges are normal and common. Hearing each week how your classmates are doing is moving and motivating. And it is quite freeing being able to share your own successes and failures in a non-judgmental, supportive environment."

"We have taught classes about parenting younger kids in the past but when our eldest started middle school, we quickly realized we were in new territory. Yshai has become our trusted go-to and has helped us begin to navigate parenting an adolescent. In this class, Yshai offered us concrete ways to work with our own reactions and anxieties and in turn, we are better able to understand, frame and help our kids' growth during this new phase of life."

"Parenting in general, presents all kinds of opportunities and challenges. Parenting during Covid-19 even more so. Yshai's class provided weekly respite where parents voices could be heard, and our children's needs could be considered. The material was spot on, and the conversations were thoughtful and enabled us to remember we're all in this together, and it's going to be ok."
