Midvale Hub Parenting Service is funded by the Department of Communities to support parents and carers living in the local government areas of Mundaring, Swan, Bassendean and Bayswater.

All parents and caregivers are welcome, we value diversity and inclusion from all cultural backgrounds, family types, and abilities.

A staff member will text 2 weeks before the session to confirm your attendance.

Because most of our workshops and programs usually have a waitlist, If we don’t receive a reply, we’ll refund your ticket so another family on the waitlist can attend.

The Parent Pause - Taking time to care for yourself while caring for your family.

Parenting can be full of love, connection and meaning. It can also be busy, demanding and sometimes a lot to carry. Alongside everything we do for our families, there can be a hidden load of thoughts, responsibilities, expectations and emotions that often goes unnoticed.

This two-hour workshop creates a little breathing space for parents to pause and reflect on their own wellbeing. We'll explore the hidden load of parenting, self-compassion, self-kindness and the expectations we place on ourselves.
