The Parrott/Hutton Quintet

Straight off of the plane from New York and onto the band stand, join Theo Parrott and Ashley Hutton for a night of hard swinging standards and choice originals.

Theo Parrott is an Ipswich-born baritone saxophonist, multi-instrumentalist, composer and educator currently based in and working throughout New York City. Since making the move from Brisbane to the United States in 2025, Theo has performed with artists such as Ulysses Owens Jr., Etienne Charles and the Latona Brothers among others and at internationally acclaimed venues including Birdland, The Django, Dizzy’s Club Cola and Smalls. Already an in demand performer, Theo is also currently pursuing a Master of Music degree at Montclair State University under the tuition of Jason Marshall, Oscar Perez and among other renowned artists.

Ashley Hutton is a Sunshine Coast-born saxophonist, composer, and contemporary session musician whose work has taken him across the globe. An in-demand collaborator, he has performed and recorded with Grammy and ARIA Award winning artists and producers, contributing to projects that have reached audiences in the millions.
