The People's Cabaret

Welcome to WAPGAP Theatre Company's debut (and final?) performance - The People’s Cabaret! WAPGAP is a semi non-professional theatre family, united by life's most brutal and beautiful circumstances. This particular variety show was created to ignite your deepest desires, without exhausting your wallet. Who can afford Broadway in this slow apocalypse? Think DIY-vintage-Vaudeville-night club meets kinky-yet-down-to-earth-rag-tag-musical-theater. But this isn’t actually "the theater" so you don’t have to behave. 

In fact, please don’t. 

This performance will be full of audience participation, so be prepared to shake a tambourine or have your lap sat on. Equal parts variety show + improvisational clowning, you are sure to leave a little more loose than when you came in. Come celebrate our last night in show business, because even if our world is ending, the show must go on!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Arrival: House opens at 7:30pm, show starts at 8pm. Please arrive early to enjoy the theater, get a drink, and settle in. The show will be about 1.5 hrs, with a 15 minute intermission. Drinks/concessions will be available by donation.

Attire: We encourage our audience to join us in artistic expression through costume. Feel free to adorn yourself in whatever feels most pleasing/exciting for you.

Accessibility: The theater is wheelchair accessible, on the ground level, and there are no stairs to enter. Audience members will be seated during the performance. There is one bathroom, please arrive with time to care for yourself.
