  • Your order will be reserved but sent to you only after the full payment plan has been completed.
  • A minimum upfront payment is required to secure your order. This includes a surcharge, a non-refundable cancellation fee, and a refundable deposit.
  • You’ll receive a notification before each payment attempt. You must ensure sufficient funds are available.

Event description

Where music and science meet –

Listen to the amazing Sydney Youth Orchestra performing Gustav Holst's The Planets and more starry music before you embark on a evening of star and planet gazing.

Dr Luke Barnes from Western Sydney University will give you an introduction in the stargazing and our Aboriginal educators will share his knowledge and his stories of the night sky from a First Nation's perspective. 

The Sydney City Skywatchers  will provide guidance with their amazing telescopes and our campfires will keep you warm on a winter's night. 


Join us for a beautiful night of music, science and incredible nature! Picnics are very welcome!

Children need to be supervised and dogs need to be on a lead. 

BYO picnic blankets or seats. 



Entry from 2:30pm

Concert:     3-5.00 pm (with intermission) 

Stargazing:  5.30-8pm 

Do not attend our programs, if

  • You show any COVID-19 symptoms or feel unwell.
  • You have travelled overseas or to a COVID-19 hotspot in the last 14 days
  • Your have been in contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19 in the last 14 days
  • You had a positive COVID-19 test result within in the last 4 months.

We will refund you're ticket if you or your child show any symptoms of Covid-19 and cannot attend.
