PRESENTED IN PARTNERSHIP WITH CANBERRA REGION BEEKEEPERS IN CELEBRATION OF WORLD BEE DAY

Celebrate World Bee Day with this captivating documentary that follows migratory beekeepers and their precious cargo of honey bees, as they set out on an epic journey across the United States to pollinate flowers that will soon become fruits, nuts and vegetables.

As these dedicated beekeepers travel the country, the film uncovers the many significant challenges both they and their bees face, exposing the vulnerabilities of a chemically reliant agricultural system. Through insightful conversations with farmers, scientists, chefs, and academics, The Pollinators reveals the threats to honey bee populations and underscores the critical importance of these tiny creatures to our global food security, offering pathways towards a more sustainable future.
