The Power Age: A celebration of life's second act
Event description
Dress for Success Sydney, The Ethics Centre and Murdoch Books invite you to the launch of The Power Age: A celebration of life's second act, by Kelly Doust.
You need only look in a magazine or scroll through Instagram to see that our culture positively deifies youth. For decades the burden of trying to hold back the clock has fallen to women, or risk fading into the background. But that tide is turning and for today’s women approaching and beyond their middle years, life has never looked better.
In The Power Age: A celebration of life’s second act , author Kelly Doust asks, what if experience always trumped youth? Or if there was more appreciation for the style and confidence that comes with age?
Please join us, author Kelly Doust and a panel of very special guests for a conversation on style, experience and wisdom.
The Panel
- Sarah Jane Adams, influencer and iconoclast
- Kirstie Clements, former Editor-in-Chief, Vogue
- Ronni Kahn, CEO and founder, Ozharvest
- Sally Loane, broadcaster and CEO Financial Services Council
Drinks and nibbles will be provided and all guests will receive a copy of The Power Age: A celebration of life's second act.Â
Panel discussion commences at 6.30pm.
All proceeds from this event go to Dress for Success Sydney supporting disadvantaged women into employment and financial security.
