The Power in You Project Charity Gala
Please join us for the inaugural 'The Power in You Project Charity Gala' to raise funds for those battling addiction and mental health issues in Geelong and South-West Victoria.
In just 6 years, founder Kane Nuttall has grown the organisation from just one staff member - himself - and one client battling addiction to over 35 staff across two locations and over 100 clients.
The Power in You Project is an organisation like no other, with a focus on peer support and leaving judgement at the door. PIYP often deal with the toughest, most complex clients in the system, but believe everyone deserves a second chance. Not only does this lift that person out of their darkest moments, but it also makes the region safer.
Kane and the PIYP team's work has resulted in philanthropic support over the years. However, demand always outweighs the resources PIYP has to offer those who need them.
The inaugural Charity Gala is a fundraiser with 100% of the proceeds going back into providing free group sessions and support for those leaving prison with addiction.
Hosted at Geelong's newest venue 'Claribeaux on the Bellarine' you won't be disappointed. With sweeping views from the beautiful golf green to the You Yangs, the venue will impress you. Despite being just one year old, Claribeaux's kitchen is already award-winning.
We'll be joined by entertaining local band 'G&T' and have the opportunity to bid at a silent auction as well as enter a raffle for incredible prizes!
Ticket includes: 2 courses and dessert platter, 4 hrs drinks package (6pm-10pm)
Dress code: black tie OR formal
