Description
This two-hour online seminar introduces genuine trauma-informed practice for those working in counselling and pastoral care, and is also well suited to people in community roles such as ministry, disability support, and peer work.
Together, we will deepen and expand our understanding of what trauma is, how it lives in the body and nervous system, and how it can shape behaviour, relationships, and meaning-making moving forward. This seminar invites a shift toward practices that honour agency and capacity, supporting trauma to move through rather than become stuck, and offering practical, compassionate, and empowering frameworks that foster safety, resilience, and connection in helping relationships.
