Description
Five Wednesdays in late spring 2026
Time: Wednesdays evenings, 6:30pm to 9:30pm.
Dates: 28 October, 4 November, 11 November, 18 November and 25 Novemember
Venue: Trainscendence, a new creative space in Collingwood
The Power of Self-Acceptance will run over 5 weekly 3-hour sessions. The sessions build on each other, so it's important to come to all of them.
A resilience toolkit
End 2026 by deepening your sense of clarity, purpose and hope.
Even when we accomplish a lot, we can still feel dissatisfied if our self-esteem depends on the next ‘success’ or ‘failure’.
This course teaches practical tools to help you jump off that treadmill by working with your thoughts, feelings and intentions.
You’ll share, practice and reflect in a small, supportive peer group over 5 weeks, guided by a team of skilled, sensitive facilitators.
Support yourself while supporting others
This is a non-profit, community-based course that doubles as a fundraiser. All proceeds will go to the Malaria Consortium to keep kids healthy in countries affected by climate change. Your contribution covers five 3-hour classes, which works out to less than $25 per hour.
Standard contribution: $350
Unwaged/concession contribution: $250
Retake contribution: $250 (we may ask you to help out!)
We’re volunteers running this course to support people to create more freedom and connection in their lives and communities. We want this course to be accessible. If you or a friend are interested in coming but would find it tricky to afford, email us to chat.
What's on offer
You’ll learn practical tools to help you:
recognise and express the qualities you value most in yourself
notice, pause and change unhelpful patterns of negative thinking
deepen your understanding of your feelings, beliefs, and behaviours
manage burnout, overcome imposter syndrome, and nurture yourself and others
thrive in your relationships, work, and passions without judging and pushing yourself.
You'll also receive audio and written materials to help you apply what you learn.
