December arrives before you’re ready. Deadlines stack up, your calendar fills, and your mind keeps running the list even at night.

Most of us push through and plan to rest over the holidays. But a nervous system that’s been “on” all year doesn’t switch off when the office closes. So we spend the break recovering instead of enjoying it.

This retreat flips the order. Before you show up for everyone else this season, show up for yourself.

Join Brian Berneman and Kat Purvis for a day to slow down and fill your tank. You’ll also set a clear intention for how you want to move through the festive season and into the year ahead.

Together, we will explore:

Conscious Movement Practices: Flow gently and intuitively, reconnecting with your body’s innate wisdom, release tension and invite clarity with guided breathing practices that reconnect you to your life force.
Somatics: Release and unwind the tension patterns that a year of desks, screens and deadlines leaves in the body.

Yoga Nidra: Rest deeply and consciously through a guided meditation practice that supports profound relaxation, nervous system restoration, and inner renewal.
Sound Healing: Immerse yourself in the healing vibrations of sound to calm the mind and uplift the spirit.
Reflective journaling: Look back on the year and notice what it asked of you. Then, with a settled body and a clear mind, choose what you want to bring into the season ahead.
Plant-based food: Nourish your being and ground even deeper.

Phones go away for the day. No emails, no messages, no one needing something from you. Just a day to come back to your body.

You’ll leave with more than one good day. You’ll take home a few simple practices and an intention to come back to when the season gets loud.

Maybe you’re stretched thin. Maybe you’re running on empty. Maybe you simply want to start the holidays grounded rather than exhausted. Whatever brings you, this day is for you. No experience needed. Any age, any body.

“It just nurtures your soul to be in a space like this for the day.” – Deb, Day Retreat participant
