The Prophet Presents "A Night at the Theatre"

THE PROPHET presents; ‘ A Night At The Theatre’.

A curated showcase of poetry, dance, film, performance art and more.
This event is the first of its kind in the historical Regent Theatre, who’s doors have recently been reopened thanks to the M-Arts Precinct. Within hosting this show we hope to offer a fresh and unique entertainment experience for the community of Murwillumbah and surrounds.

The lineup will include local and interstate feature acts who have been hand-selected for the event, alongside these artists will be a collection of successful applicants who responded to our creative call-out, and

It is our intention to create spaces for local creatives to share the stage alongside established and experienced performers, and have the chance to share their work with the community.

You can expect an immersive evening filled with dance performances, film screenings, storytelling, poetry and more. Keep up to date with the Prophet on Instagram as feature acts are announced over the coming weeks. These include the 2025 Nimbin Performance Poetry Cup Winner, as well as an array of prized and award winning artists.

Saturday 25th October

DOORS OPEN 6 PM
SHOW BEGINS 6.30PM

Show will finish roughly 10 PM
With a 30 minute intermission in between.

The Regent Cinema can be found at 5 Brisbane Street, as a part of the M-Arts Precinct.
