The Pulse

Pulse is a multicultural percussion project, which embraces all rhythm enthusiasts from different backgrounds. We aim to create a mindful drum community with like-minded rhythm enthusiasts, whose hearts beat with the passion for world percussion.

What we are aiming for is having a solid rhythmical foundation and sharing different beats, grooves and rhythms from different parts of the world including the Middle East, India, Latin America, Turkey, Brazil, Balkans, Africa and Japan. It is an invitation for those who have an inner calling for drumming and learn from an established musician while connecting to like-minded people.

We are going to learn Rhythm and Drumming from ABC throughout the project. We will dive into the foundations of Rhythm and learn beats from different parts of the world. Atman is going to share his deep wisdom in Rhythm and Drums by revealing the Rhythmic System he discovered throughout his music journey.

Pulse Project is designed in such a way that you are going to learn foundations of rhythm each and every week, and incrementally we are going to learn playing multicultural beats. The project follows a well-developed curriculum that will help you to learn drumming from scratch with everything you need to know. This is why we recommend everyone being a member of the project. You are more than welcome to join us casually though. Please check every event description to learn regarding the main topic of the next workshop.

What makes The Pulse Project so unique is the eclectic combination of world percussion under one umbrella. Also we prepare our students for a performance at the end of each semester. Our goal is encouraging and inspiring future musicians while creating more opportunities for the local musicians.
