The Pyramid Presents.. SOFT BLACK FEMMES

Our All Black lineup is back, and this one is going to be a special one. We are dedicating this night to creating the sweetest, warmest space to celebrate, nurture and love on our Black Femmes. This night is about allowing Black Femmes the space for softness. As quoted by Malcolm X, "The most disrespected person in America is the Black woman. The most unprotected person in America is the Black woman. The most neglected person in America is the Black woman." This rings true for the Black women here in Aus too. Black women are the backbone of their communities, they are the nurturers, the protectors, the innovators, the trendsetters, the ones who are often elevating and providing strength and care for those around them. Yet Black women/femmes are also the first to be extracted from, discarded, abandoned, demonised, and face the most harm.

More so than ever Black Femmes deserve love and care. They deserve to have spaces where they can feel safe and soft. Where they are protected and have people show up for them. This night is all about gifting our black femmes their flowers, allowing them to be vulnerable and holding their gentle hearts. Black Femmes are tired of always having to be so strong, and for this night, we just want them to breathe, to feel beautiful, to feel soft. This night is so important to help show our Black Femmes the love and care the world owes them. Bring your tips, but also for this one, bring our dancers flowers, they deserve it all!

Named after the Frank Ocean song 'Pyramids' this night is dedicated to QTBIPOC dancers, royalty, deities, ethereal beings and everything in between. Here at the Pyramid we offer a sexy space for queer people and bipoc people to strip, tease and dance whilst being showered with tipping dollars, love and appreciation.

The Pyramid was created in commemoration to the Black strippers and Sex workers who paved the way, they ones who created the artform of pole, the ones who sensationalised and platformed the strip clubs and stripper culture, those who revolutionised the sex industry and to make space for those who have come after. In 'so called Australia' our bipoc workers are overlooked and undervalued, many face racism in the clubs and pole spaces, and this space was created to give them their flowers and dollars they deserve. They are the trendsetters, the blueprint. 

Tipping $$ will be sold at the door, and are a must if you wish to attend and watch and are available to re-purchase throughout the evening to make sure you continue to make it rain on our dancers. Private Shows will also be offered $50 per show with your fav dancer.

There will be an incredible lineup of DJ's, and bar, and the venue is wheelchair accessible!

The Pyramid would also like to acknowledge that this event will be taking place on Unceeded Gadigal Land, we pay our respects to ancestors past and present and remember that it always was, always will be, ABORIGINAL LAND.

We would also like to pay our respects to all Sex Workers as strip and pole have been created and sensationalised by the BLACK sex workers before us and they deserve their flowers ALWAYS. We also pay respects to all S/W's for the liberation work they continuously do.
