    Event description

The women gather when sky is dark and the stars are bright in the crisp winter air.

The discussions run deep while her spirit and bones awaken to an age-old power and magic.

A whispering, "this sisterhood feels like liberation." We are stronger together.

There's laughter, howls and prayers and a welcome sense of peace which settles in her heart.

Under the dark skies of winter, she is held by the circle.

    Welcome to the Quiet Season.

This is the season for cosy gatherings, deep rest, a time to nurture ourselves and find renewal from the inside out.

The Quiet Season is a series of three new-moon women’s circles, to bring us into deeper relationship with ourselves and in sisterhood during the wintertime.

Surrounded by cushions, soft blankets, and hot cups of tea, we will rest together as a community of women with nourished and receptive hearts.

These circles are open to all folx experiencing the world through a femme lens. You're enthusiastically invited to come along to all three circles, for the continuity of connection to yourself and others. You are also welcome to come to just one if you'd prefer.

    Why do we circle together?

    • To restore and rejuvenate your whole being through self-exploration and expression
    • To dive into our inherent interconnectedness, to learn from and feel the support of other women
    • To shift the feeling of aloneness and isolation to a feeling of deeper connection, support and receptivity
    • To experience being seen, heard, and received in your honest self-expression
    • To meet and join with other women in a community based on loving connection, resonant stories and deep support

    What happens at the circles?

Each circle will be slightly different but based around the following structure:

    • Opening and honouring of the traditional owners, and the women who are present, discussion of circle guidelines
    • Meditative/creative practice to connect to self and others in circle
    • Reflection and rest ritual
    • Supportive sharing/discussion circle - A chance to be seen and heard in a supportive space. There is no pressure to share, witnessing is welcome too. Share celebrations and challenges to know that you are not alone. All of you is welcome
    • Closing circle, sharing tea and treats together
