Description
The Real Comedy: Workshop Showcase By Helen Guliana
As part of the new original work in development by Helen Guliana.
When reality and humour meet, humour is used as a tool to navigate harsh realities. This showcase is about the experiences that women in our community share. It is about identity and the clash of two worlds for a migrant woman trying to navigate language, systems, and culture.
The work draws on humorous storytelling to create moments of joy and togetherness. It also explores social issues, including language as a barrier.
Hosted by Jennifer Wong!
