The Really Really Free Market in Guildford

The Really Really Free Market is like a big garage sale except everything is free!

Bring any items you no longer need (including unwanted Christmas gifts!). Take what you need/want. Everything is FREE!

No cash exchanged. No bartering. No haggling.

Gates open at 8.50am. The market begins at 9am and wraps up at 10am.

How you can participate:

You bring any items you wish to give away and you take what you want/need.

Tables will be setup outside the hall and labelled with different categories (e.g., books, kitchen items, and toys) for you to place your items on. Please only bring items that work and are in reasonable/good condition. 

Why are we doing this event outdoors?

We acknowledge the reality that Covid is still with us. To minimise the risk of transmission and make our events inclusive for all (e.g., immunocompromised), Transition Town Guildford is committed to hosting outdoor events that are Covid safe. Mask wearing is strongly encouraged. If you feel unwell, please stay home.

IMPORTANT: If you are bringing items to give away, you’ll need to take them home if no one picks them up.

Please do not leave your unwanted items behind for our volunteers to deal with (whenever this happens it's really, really annoying).
