The Rees Culinary Series presents: Paritua
Description
Join us for our next Culinary Series Dinner at Michelin Guide 2026 Selected Restaurant, True South Dining Room, featuring Paritua and Chief Winemaker Jason Stent.
Based in the Bridge Pa Triangle wine region of Hawke's Bay, Paritua is known for producing premium wines that reflect the unique character of the region. With a focus on quality and consistency, the winery has built a strong reputation for elegant reds and vibrant whites grown from a single vineyard site.
Jason joined Paritua in 2008 after years working in the New Zealand wine industry, including helping craft award-winning wines at Sacred Hill. His approach to winemaking is centred around creating wines that showcase the vineyard, varietal, and season in a balanced and approachable style.
For the evening, True South Executive Chef Trent Watson has created a seasonal four-course menu designed to pair with Paritua’s wines. Jason will guide guests through the wines across the evening, sharing stories from the vineyard, harvests, and life in Hawke’s Bay.
