Meet Liz, The Bespoke New Zealand fashion designer: Liz Mitchell is an internationally respected designer. She has worked in theatre and television and has run a successful bespoke tailoring business for more than 30 years. Her eye for design and her passion for using materials that are beautiful and sustainable have drawn her to developing a range of New Zealand strong wool products for everyday life.

Liz Mitchell is inspired by the beauty of New Zealand’s strong wool. Through her exploration into the fiber, and meeting many fellow ambassadors, artisans, and farmers along the way, Liz and her partners believe the time is right for wool to return to the world stage.

Using the transformational process of felting she is creating contemporary bespoke designs, art pieces, and homewares that transform spaces – and lives.
