Event description

The Remembering is an immersive, co-creative day retreat for women entering their wise woman years.

It’s no longer about becoming more…doing more…maybe it never was!?

It's about simplifying, unbinding and peeling back the layers that we have often accumulated through life, to reconnect with our forgotten self, our true desires, our intuition, our true power.

Are YOU feeling that call?

IMAGINE a nature sanctuary nestled in the heart of the Glasshouse mountains, held in the embrace of the sacred land and stones. A nurturing and empowering space for you to explore, express, rejoice and reclaim ALL of yourself.

The Remembering is your opportunity to:

  • Reset your nervous system

  • Restore a sense of wonder and faith in life, in yourself and your worth

  • Reimagine your life aligned to your Highest Self

  • Recognise, listen to and learn to trust the voice of your soul

  • Receive divine downloads for this next phase of your life as a creator

  • Remember who you are beyond roles, rules, religious doctrine, governance or societal norms

  • Reclaim your forgotten gifts and fullest expression

  • Reconnect to the divine in all things and in conscious community

Through a carefully curated blend of offerings that weave embodiment practices/processes, movement, meditation, music, sound and ceremony, rediscover the peace that comes from aligning with your truest nature.

Where every sound echoes with the whisper of authenticity and loving self-acceptance. Where every breath connects you deeper to yourself, to each other and to the sacred land.

Who is it for?

We’ve noticed in ourselves and in our collective female friends and clients’ certain tendencies that can seem to suddenly raise their heads around the time of perimenopause (for most women around 40-50 years of age) and that can lead to ongoing physical, emotional and mental health issues:

  • Feeling somewhat disillusioned or overwhelmed with life and questioning your role in it

  • Tired of being overinvested in and overwrought by fulfilling others needs and expectations

  • Feeling more anxious, low or emotionally turbulent than usual

  • Unsure of who you really are and what you really want anymore

  • Feeling unseen, unheard and lack lustre

  • Challenged by physical changes, discomfort or limitations

We see you, we hear you and…

We have all felt some of these too and it was from our own journeys of discovery, navigating this time of transition, that we were called to come together and bring you THE REMEMBERING Day Retreat for women.

We truly believe and have personally experienced that perimenopause can be a potent portal of transformation and we would love to help show you how.

THE REMEMBERING is not so much about teaching; it's about helping you to rediscover the magic of you and embrace the wisdom and power that come with this stage of life.

An empowering and co-creative space, this is a day of profound liberation, joyful Self-discovery and embodied expression where the I becomes WE: for together we are even more powerful and juicy!

Rebecca Thompson

Rebecca is a Spiritual Teacher, Mentor, Yoga Teacher, Musician and Artist. Her passion and expertise is in helping women honour their true Self through cultivating conscious connection – connection to Self, to source, to country and to others.

Through deeply embodied practices and processes she guides women to a place of remembering, unbinding the accumulated layers of adopted persona and unleashing the fullest and highest expression of themselves.

With over 30 years in the wellbeing arena originally as a physio, Rebecca shares practical spirituality for the modern-day woman that is both deeply rooted in ancient wisdom and bolstered by her own direct experience.

Rebecca has navigated many turning points and growth challenges in her own life, from emigration, motherhood, business, chronic pain, community leadership and the joys of perimenopause.
From her wealth of wisdom and creativity, she empowers others to live with ease, grace and wellbeing and she does so with authenticity, integrity, humour and of course song!

Emma Creed

Emma Creed is a Music Educator, Sound Healer, Siren of Stillness and Self Expression Specialist who utilises the power of sound, song, silence, stillness and movement to promote personal and planetary healing, harmony and wellbeing.

With a beautiful voice and in her own unique holistic style, Emma facilitates her ‘work’ with warmth, humour and compassion, creating a sacred, safe and sensual space for experiencing new levels of Self-expression.

Emma loves gently guiding her participants on a journey of creating inner harmony, providing a safe space for women to step out of their comfort zone, let go of judgement, connect with their Self and each other.

As we tone and sing, we immerse and surround our Selves with joyous vibrations. We discover the unique and natural gifts of our own voice, creating a profound connection with the power of our own healing sounds and a sense of oneness with others.

Danielle Gonsal

Danielle is an advocate for self-empowerment through utilising women’s wisdom and the wisdom of Ayurveda. She is the founder of her Ayurvedic Retreat Catering Business, Abundant Health Ayurveda.

Inspired by her own experiences, Danielle approaches wellness with empathy, authenticity, and a deep understanding of the unique needs of women at every stage of life.

With a heart full of wisdom and a commitment to lifelong learning, Danielle continues to explore new avenues for holistic healing and personal growth. She believes that true wellness is a journey of self-discovery and self-care, and she is dedicated to guiding others along this path towards greater health, balance, and vitality.

Melissa Watt

Mel is a Portrait Photographer specialising in creating an Empowerment Portrait Experience that helps women to reclaim themselves and embrace all of who they are with NO makeup so they can awaken their strength and beauty within.

Mel's mission is to steer women away from this idea of ‘perfectionism’ as seen in society and help them to connect within to feel the essence of who they are, be proud and not let society dictate who or what they should be or look like.

This is Mel’s magic. She captures their radiant energy that shines from within. This is ultimately what beauty is.

Mel has been on her own journey of personal growth from struggling self-worth related to peri menopause. Undertaking several Embodiment Workshops with Rebecca Thompson’s Mastery program, has now found the truth of who she is... ‘Discoverer of Beauty within for myself and others’

Mel originally studied nursing and completed my Bachelor of Nursing in 1993 which helps her with connecting and building relationships with her clients.
