The Resilience Project Parent Workshop
Description
Supporting Boys Through Adolescence
Tuesday 23 June, 6.30pm to 7.30pm
As a partner school of The Resilience Project (TRP), we’re pleased to invite parents and carers to a special session hosted at St Bede’s College Mentone Campus by Martin Heppell from TRP.
This in-person workshop will offer practical advice and tools for parents to support their sons through the challenges of adolescence. This event further enhances the Wellbeing program our students participate in their fortnightly period, where we dedicate time for students to develop emotional literacy and a deeper sense of connection, supported by valuable resources from The Resilience Project.
Building Resilience Through Gratitude, Empathy and Mindfulness (GEM)
Our Student Wellbeing program with The Resilience Project centres on three key pillars: Gratitude, Empathy, and Mindfulness (GEM). This work aims to empower students to find their voice, in addition to the pastoral and professional support provided by Year Level and House Coordinators, as well as our College Counsellors.
Staying On Track With The Resilience Project Student Planner
Many students have expressed a need for better support with organisation and staying on track. The College Student Planner, produced in collaboration with The Resilience Project is a vital tool for success. The Planner contains essential and tailored Wellbeing materials directly used in our sessions. It is available for order via Campion Books.
We look forward to welcoming you at The Resilience Project Parent Workshop.
