The Retreat

Ladies, we warmly welcome you to join us for a one day only women's conference: The Retreat.

When God first started to breathe vision into our planning for this event, it became evident that He wanted to invite His daughters to come and meet with Him in the secret place. To set aside time, away from the every day duties of life (which by the way are never ceasing) and be recharged. 

Psalm 96:6 says: "Honour and majesty surround Him; strength and beauty fill His sanctuary." The Retreat is an invitation to enter into that sacred space, where we can experience God's divine presence in a profound and personal way.

Our guest speaker, Emily Walker is an ordained minister and gifted communicator with a background in psychology. In 2021 she founded Walker Ministries, which sees her liberating people through the power of the Gospel all around the world. As a licensed identity coach, Emily is passionate about helping people discover how to live authentically from their true identity. On top of that, she's just plain fun! We really are in for a treat!

So grab all your favourite ladies and let's make this a Mother's Day weekend to remember! 

As an incentive to get in early, we are offering early-bird tickets at a discounted rate of $30 to those who purchase a ticket before April 10. Standard tickets are $40 thereafter. Morning tea and a beautifully curated grazing lunch will be provided with your ticket. This is a not for profit event, therefore all monies collected will go straight back into making our conference as wonderful as possible. 

If you are experiencing financial hardship, we have a handful of discount codes available. Please email ashleigh@encounterchurchbrisbane.au if you would like access to one of these codes. Be assured, we want you there and would be so disappointed if you didn't come because you couldn't afford the ticket price. If you are in a position to offer financial assistance to another, this can be done in the form of a donation. Thank you for helping us to be a blessing to others!

To ensure that this truly is a 'retreat' experience for all of our women, this is a child-free* event. We understand that it can be difficult to arrange child minding, but can we encourage you to try your best! Call in all your favours, start saving for a sitter, treat yourself this Mother's Day with a well earned day off! You are worth investing into! *Over 16's and babes in arms are welcome to attend.
