The Rich Effect: Documentary Premiere & Listening Party

Jade Rich invites you to an exclusive and intimate evening at The Backlot (cinema), West Perth, as she shares a first look at her upcoming album.

Jade's recent release 'crash into you' was a result of an online collaboration with Ross Newhouse, a New York based songwriter and musician who she met through her Spotify playlisting of 'Polite' in 2023. Before she knew it, she was flying over to New York to see him in person during the month of their songs release. Along the way and after a flight to LA, she encountered a number of LA-based songwriters too, honing her sound and exploring new creative directions. This journey ultimately led her to Stephen Beerkens, with whom she has written a huge catalogue of new songs with, presenting an exciting new direction.

This special event will feature the debut screening of an original short documentary, filmed, directed, edited and colour graded by Kori Reay-Mackey. It captures Jade’s journey, from Perth to the USA, alongside a live performance and a listening party where you'll be the first to hear some of her new songs - un-mastered, un-released, never-before-heard tracks.

With only 45 tickets available, this intimate event offers an opportunity to be a part of her journey and support her as she prepares for the release of these new tracks in 2026. Every ticket purchased goes a long way to supporting her costs for recording, mixing, mastering and promotion <3
