No. It's a themed dance party with a DJ playing Rocky Horror, 80s and Halloween favourites. There's no film and no live show, just dancing and singing along.

Do I have to dress up?

No, but it's Halloween and it's Rocky Horror, so we'd love it if you did. Come as Frank, Magenta, Columbia, Riff Raff or your own creation.

Can I bring my children?

No. This is a strictly 18+ event. Everyone needs valid photo ID (NZ driver licence, passport or Kiwi Access Card). We operate Challenge 25, so if you look under 25, you'll be asked.

Entry to the party from 4pm to 9pm. Drinks and food are bought separately.

Yes. The bar is open all afternoon, and small bites are available during the party.

Vinyl Bar was built for this. One afternoon the retro turns rotten — corsets laced, fishnets on, five hours of the campest, filthiest, best sing-along ever made.

Expect the full cult classic — Time Warp, Sweet Transvestite, Science Fiction/Double Feature, Damn It Janet and Hot Patootie — stacked with the Halloween heavyweights: Thriller, Ghostbusters and Monster Mash. Glam, horror and bangers, wall to wall.

Come as Frank, Magenta, Columbia, Riff Raff, or whatever crawled out of the lab. Sequins, suspenders, fake blood — the wilder the better. Judgement stays at the door.

Doors 4pm. Done by 9pm. Home before the real ghosts clock on.

It's a themed dance party, not a film screening or live stage show. Costumes are encouraged but never required.
