Hey wine industry legends the Rootlings (NSW Wine Industry Under 35) Network would like to invite you to attend the 2023 Rootlings Network Conference on Thursday and Friday the 25th/26th of May in Orange NSW.

Who should attend?
Anyone under 35 working in any role across the NSW Wine Industry that wants to meet others, build networks and broaden their industry knowledge and skills.
What is covered in the conference?
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided on the Thursday and Morning tea and lunch will be provided on the Friday. Transport throughout the conference will also be provided. The cost is $20 inc GST per person however all participants coming from outside of Orange will receive a travel bursary between $100-$150 to help cover some travel and accommodation costs.
Itinerary
Day 1 AM (Business Tours)
Printhie Wines: Branding, marketing and strategic planning. Bacon and egg rolls and coffee
Canobolas Wines: Reviatilisation of a business, moving from traditional vineyard managemet to more sustainable practices and future varieties.
Balmoral Vineyard (See Saw Wines): Organic and Sustainable viticulture.
Day 1 PM (Workshops)
Capacity and Future Focus Workshops: Jill Briggs will facilitate a workshop for the group on developing our professional future plans (5-year plans) and experts from different areas of the industry will be there to help with career pathways and opportunities. There will also be a session on networking.
Dinner: A full conference dinner will be held at a venue in Orange, please bring a bottle of wine from your region or a wine that means something to you to share at this event.
Day 2 AM (Business Tours)
Fresh Fodder: Looking at successful value adding businesses ouside of the wine indusry.
ChaLou: Starting your own business and label from scratch early in your career. Lunch and review of conference.
