The Roseologist Presents: In Conversation with Craig Scott and Tim Entwisle

Barton ArtBox – Saturday 9th November

    6:00pm - 7:30pm

BOOKED OUT - THIS EVENT IS NOW FULLY BOOKED!

Two Icons of the Australian Botanical Community meet to discuss their shared enthusiasm for Australian Native Wildflowers.

To coincide with Wildflower, an exhibition of recent works by artists Rhiannon Berry (aka The Roseologist), and Lauren Sutton, Craig and Tim will speak about the place that wildflowers have in their lives and the influence on their respective career pathways. Craig, who is widely respected as an industry leader in the native cut flower/foliage industry, will give an overview of life at his farm, located at Mangrove Mountain, NSW, and the various wildflowers grown there. Between them, Craig and Tim have many decades of experience working with, and researching botanicals, and a wealth of knowledge in relation to the subject. Tim, as a botanist and former director of the Royal Botanical Gardens Victoria, is also well versed on Native flora within Australia. They have interesting personal histories, and the discussion will give an overview of their background and connection to the botanical community within Australia.

The majority of botanicals used in the creation of Rhiannon’s work, as well as the photographic collaboration with Lauren Sutton, come from Craig’s farm at Mangrove Mountain.

Guests will be invited to participate in a Q&A at the end of Tim and Craig’s discussion and will be able to view the exhibition, and enjoy a complimentary glass of wine.
